Safer Biogas Plants
Bieler+Lang's GMC Biogas 08 biogas analyzer monitors the fermentation processes involved in biogas, sewage gas, or landfill gas production. It measures the contents of methane, carbon dioxide, residual oxygen, and hydrogen sulphide in individually defined measuring cycles.
Regular monitoring of biogas plants can reliably prevent economic damage and improve safety. The biogas analyzer monitors the composition of the generated biogas. The hydrogen sulphide sensor is located in a separate sample gas channel with an independently adjustable measuring interval and is equipped with an overload protection. The analyzer comes with dual infrared sensons for methane and carbon dioxide. Automatic zero-point calibration of the sensors is executed prior to each measurement and active control of the pump function also takes place.
The biogas analyzer also features a detonation arrestor according to EN 12874, straightforward operation, and ease of maintenance. The system can be retrofitted to an existing plant. Up to two gas sensors can be connected for area monitoring. Complementary separate systems for area monitoring are also possible according to the requirements of different explosive zones (Ex-Zones).
