At Achema, the manufacturer will present an upgraded drum filler that comes with many technical innovations and refinements. A chain conveyor ensures that the drums are transported through the machine and delivered to the individual stations in single cycle mode. Positioning and de-bunging, filling and closing the drums is done automatically. As an option, it is possible to integrate a pre-filling station to further boost performance. The new design is equipped with a Siemens PLC-7 control system and the manufacturer‘s new FS-T10e weighing technology. The filling unit thus now offers enhanced reporting and statistics possibilities. As an option the equipment can also be supplied in stainless steel and acid-resistant design and is suitable for use in Zone 1 potentially explosive atmospheres, Atex category II 2 G c IIB T3.
