Impeller Pump

06.05.2015 Zuwa has developed a dry self priming flexible impeller pump made of synthetic materials. The pump was designed for a wide range of chemical applications. Various impeller materials (CR, EPDM, FKM/FPM, NBR and plastic) make the pump versatile.

The pump is made of PTFE. By virtue of its design the pump is dry self priming. It is not necessary to fill the pump prior to use. Even fluids with high viscosities or acids, solvents, bases or other process fluids can be pumped. Shaft seals made of Viton guarantee a high level of operational reliability.
The chemical pump is capable of dry self priming from a depth of 3 meters, depending on the fluid. The pump head is up to 50 meters. Depending on the motor, the flow rate is 3 to 30 l/min. Motors with frequency converters are also available.
High grade materials permit a maximum working temperature of 90 °C. Pumping of fluids containing solids is possible. Depending on the model, corrosive fluids can also be handled. Transport of the media is pulsation free. An optional, effective dry run protection keeps the pumps from running hot if the supply of fluid is interrupted. A temperature sensor mounted on the front side of the pump stops the energy supply to the motor once a pre-set temperature limit is reached.
