The new Atex-certified luminaire is ideal for use in hazardous operational environments. It is perfectly suited for universal applications as combined sight and light glasses (1-flange version) as well as in separate arrangements (2-flange version). Approved for ambient temperatures of +60 °C and with effective corrosion protection, this luminaire comes with a high light output and optimally designed screw-glass opening which predestine its use for illuminating boilers, tanks, silos, agitators, and all closed vessels, reactors, and sight flow indicators in explosion-hazardous environments. It is, of course, also suitable for use in sterile areas such as in the food industry. Fitted with an LED bulb, the low-maintenance luminaire emits no heat from the light outlet. It is certified to IP 65 and IP 67 standards and is specifically designed for use on vibrating or oscillating containers.
