Der neue Betreiber will durch die Zusammenführung die Attraktivität weiter verbessern und neue Kunden hinzugewinnen.

Verantwortung zur Rheinheit

Abwasserkonzept im Infrapark Baselland

Als am Rhein gelegener Chemiepark trägt der Infrapark Baselland eine besondere Verantwortung, seine Abwässer nachhaltig zu reinigen, um den Rheinanliegern nördlich von Basel eine hohe Rheinwasserqualität konstant zu garantieren. Um diese Anforderungen zu erfüllen, müssen die Abwässer so gereinigt werden, dass das Rheinwasser ohne Einschränkungen der Trinkwasser-Aufbereitung zugeführt werden kann.

CH steht für CHemie

Die Zukunft der Schweiz als Chemiestandort

„Die chemische Industrie ist tot…“. Dies war der provozierende erste Satz der Einladung von in der Region Basel, Schweiz, ansässigen Organisationen zu einer Veranstaltung am 1. September 2016 mit dem Titel:„Chemical Industry: Opportunities in the Basel Area“. Hintergrund war die Entwicklung des Infrapark Baselland von einem Produktionsstandort der Clariant hin zur Gründung des Infrapark im Jahr 2011 bis zum einem Standort mit heute 15 unterschiedlichen Firmen.

Turnaround vollzogen

Infrapark Baselland wird rechtlich eigenständig

Noch vor vier Jahren dräuten dunkle Wolken über dem Clariant-Produktionsstandort Schweizerhalle. Die unweit von Basel über Jahrzehnte ansässige Textilchemie wurde ins Ausland verlagert, zahlreiche Gebäude am Chemiestandort drohten leer zu stehen. Um den Standort zu entwickeln, wurde ein kleines Team beauftragt, die Transformation hin zu einem offenen Chemiepark zu betreiben. Erstes sichtbares Zeichen: Die 2011 gegründete Marke „Infrapark Baselland“. Die Einheit hat sich zu einem Standortdienstleister gemausert – und ist mit der Ansiedlung neuer Unternehmen erfolgreich.

Infrapark Baselland zieht nach erstem Jahr positive Bilanz

Der Start des „Infrapark Baselland“ vor gut einem Jahr war in mehrfacher Hinsicht ein Novum: Ein offener Chemiepark am Traditionsstandort „Schweizerhalle“, der sich mit Infrastrukturdienstleistungen auch für die umliegenden Chemie- und Pharmaunternehmen der Region Basel interessant macht. Und gleichzeitig der Aufbruch eines Clariant-Standorts, der in den vergangenen Jahren vor allem mit Stellenabbau in den Nachrichten war.
